Woman declared deceased in Saskatoon collision

SASKATOON - Update, May 29, 4:43 p.m.: Police are investigating following a fatal collision in Saskatoon.

Traffic restrictions at the scene of the earlier collision on University Drive have been lifted.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., May 29, police responded to a reported collision between a motorcycle and vehicle. The operator of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old woman, was transported to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate.

Police wish to thank the public for their consideration of the investigation.

7:52 a.m.Saskatoon Police are currently on the scene of a serious collision. 

At approximately 7:30 a.m., May 29, police responded to a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on the University Bridge. Traffic is restricted in both directions. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
