REGINA – Roadwork is scheduled to impact several high-traffic areas in Regina beginning Saturday, June 7, as the City and contractors undertake short-term and multi-week projects.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. on June 7, intersections at Albert Street and 9th Avenue North, and Pasqua Street and Ring Road, will be restricted for one night while a private contractor completes work.

On June 8, the intersection at Albert Street and 11th Avenue/Sinton Lane will operate as a three-way stop between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. due to city crews completing work. That evening, starting at 7:30 p.m., Albert Street and Gordon Road, as well as Lewvan Drive and Parliament Avenue, will also see one-night restrictions for contractor work.

On June 9, additional work will impact traffic flow:

  • Elphinstone Street, from 6th Avenue to 5th Avenue, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for water system repairs.
  • The intersection of McCarthy Boulevard and 1st Avenue North will be restricted for three weeks, starting 7 a.m., while crews install new traffic signals.
  • Ring Road northbound at Dewdney Avenue will be restricted between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. for 19 days to accommodate guardrail installation.

Transit users are advised to check with Regina Transit to confirm if their routes or stops are affected.

The City of Regina thanked residents for their patience and reminded drivers to reduce speeds in construction zones.
