REGINA — Multiple Regina roads will face restrictions starting Thursday, May 22, as crews complete a range of infrastructure projects.
Beginning at 7 a.m., eastbound traffic on First Avenue North will be restricted from Lewvan Drive to McCarthy Boulevard for two days to allow for road work.
At 8 a.m., Sherwood Drive will be restricted from Century Drive to Raddison Bay for two weeks, excluding weekends, while crews water the centre median.
Victoria Avenue eastbound will be restricted from Wallace Street to Lindsay Street for 12 days starting at 7 a.m., as concrete work gets underway.
Meanwhile, 11th Avenue will be closed from Lorne Street to the alley west of Hamilton Street from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, for up to four months. A private contractor is continuing upgrades to the street.
Transit users are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to see if their routes or stops are affected.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their patience and urges drivers to slow down in construction zones.
