Edmonton police arrest two suspects in Regina homicide

Both accused are being transported back to Regina in the coming days.

REGINA – Two people have been arrested in the May 30 murder of 22-year-old Wahkia Ewalk.

Angus Fox, 32, and Herb Fox, 34, were arrested by Edmonton Police Service on June 3 in Edmonton, Alta. Angus Fox is charged with first-degree murder and Herb Fox is charged with accessory after the fact to murder. 

Both accused are being transported back to Regina in the coming days. Further charges are expected, and a court date will be determined upon their return.

The charges stem from an incident at approximately 2 a.m. on May 30, when Regina police officers were dispatched to Marshall Crescent for a report of gunshots. When they arrived, they conducted a search of the area and located a deceased male outside the home.

Officers secured the area and requested additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

Regina police thanks the Edmonton Police Service for their assistance in the apprehension of these suspects.
