North Battleford鈥檚 Blake Tatchell is set to embark on a journey into the pros. On Tuesday it was announced that the 25-year-old had signed a one-year deal with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL.

It was a road that started at the track field behind St. Peter鈥檚 College. And that is a place that Brianne Theisen-Eaton and her mom, Kim Theisen hold close to their hearts as Theisen-Eaton comes home from the Rio Olympics a bronze medalist.

As he received his plaque and pin to honour his induction into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame Saturday, Saskatoon鈥檚 Regan Kjargaard couldn鈥檛 help but reflect. 鈥淨uite honestly it鈥檚 a little bit of humble pie,鈥� Kjargaard said.
