A number of local track and field athletes have enjoyed a busy summer as they competed in the tri-provincial track and field championships in Sherwood Park, Alta.

Humboldt鈥檚 Christine Cardenas may not have much experience in strength competition, but the first-year competitor is seeing immediate results.

It may not have been the end of the season the Muenster Midget AAA Red Sox were looking for, but the club showcased plenty of promise for the future in a rebuilding year for the club.

A common sight in the arena every August in seeing members of the Humboldt Broncos coaching up young kids at their annual minor hockey camp. With the April 6 accident, the Broncos were not in a position to organize this year鈥檚 camp.

The Battlefords North Stars are in need of a new marketing and office manager. The club confirmed on their website that their marketing/office manager the past two seasons, Caitlin Gray, has departed for the WHL鈥檚 Saskatoon Blades.
