The swimming pool is open. And, if you haven't had a chance to register your child for lessons yet, you can do this right at the pool office. Public swim hours are evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and weekends 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m.

RCMP officer given royal sendoff
Will Cst. Jacqueline Spence be missed? Yes she will. A surprise potluck supper was held for Spence June 8 at the Radisson Community Hall. Close to 80 people were there to say goodbye. She was greeted with She's A Golly Good Fellow and lots of tears.

Colour figures prominently
The current exhibition in the Window Salon of the Chapel Gallery is "Honouring Individual Creation" by local artist, Daphie Pooyak. Pooyak is a graduate of the Yvonne Yuen School of Design and has been involved in creative arts for most of her life.

Cribbage was played May 22. Jean Hartman supplied lunch and hosted, assisted by Dorothy Schwartz. High score went to Bev Stewart and low to Eva Inkster. Bingo was played May 25 with Joan Smith and Margaret MacEachern doing the calling.
