A man facing drug trafficking and weapons-related offences is seeking bail in Saskatoon Provincial Court. Rudi Betthel, 52, of Bjorkdale, had a show cause hearing on April 29 but the judge reserved his decision until May 7.

A man wanted by RCMP on violent offences was arrested and released on bail.

On聽Thursday April 29, Black Lake RCMP officers were alerted to a vehicle carrying a large quantity of alcohol passing through La Ronge heading toward Black Lake. The vehicle was located and stopped by RCMP.
