Game one of the provincial AA peewee northern final didn't go as planned Tuesday, but anything can happen in game two.

Midget AA Barons The Barons live for another round in Centre Four Hockey League action. The Barons went up against Meadow Lake Friday and Sunday in the consolation playoffs and lost game one 5-3 in Meadow Lake.

The sirens were howling Friday as North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were called out to two vehicle crashes and one fire alarm. The fire alarm turned out to be false.
