Medstead Multiple 4-H Club held general meetings on Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Jan. 12, Feb. 2 and March 2. A Cloverbud meeting was held Nov. 3. The foods group had their first meeting Nov. 11 and a second meeting was held in December.

Battlefords playoff runs draw to a close

Midget AA Barons The Barons live for another round in Centre Four Hockey League action. The Barons went up against Meadow Lake Friday and Sunday in the consolation playoffs and lost game one 5-3 in Meadow Lake.

Friday busy for NBFES

The sirens were howling Friday as North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were called out to two vehicle crashes and one fire alarm. The fire alarm turned out to be false.
