Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the Bell鈥檚 Point area between Oct. 7 and Oct. 10 to contact them.

"We have the resources to invest because of the fact that we've really concentrated on growing our economy across the province."

Officers from Ile-a-la-Crosse RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services were originally searching for a man who fled from them on foot.

Police are investigating in the area.

"I would just like to make sure that I can help support the community that supported us."

A 40-year-old man from Christopher Lake is charged with aggravated assault and forcible confinement.

As a result of continued investigation, a man was arrested at a home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation.

A warrant has been issued for 48-year-old Roland Hanson of Buffalo Narrows.

Officers responded along with local EMS and located an injured man, who had been a passenger on the ATV. He was transported to hospital and later declared deceased.

The suspect pointed a firearm at officers multiple times when he first escaped arrest.
