A 47-year-old man was apprehended by police under the Mental Health Services Act.

Brandon Bluecloud, 29, appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court recently, where he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, three counts of mischief and three counts of breaching an undertaking for offences that occurred on Oct. 3, 2023.

On July 9, RCMP received a report that a man had tampered with an electronic device monitoring his court-ordered 24-hour curfew.

Another adult male occupant was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.

Outgoing Moose Jaw Wakamow MLA Greg Lawrence is facing charges of assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code, and choking, contrary to section 267 of the Criminal Code. 

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.

33 people were taken into custody and six criminal code charges were laid. 

A resident reported on July 9 that their garage had been entered sometime over the past few days while they were away, and liquor had been stolen from the fridge.

A 17-year-old male youth from North Battleford is charged with robbery and a series of weapons charges.
