Summer program welcomes kids

Yorkton's summer children and youth program has started again at the Gloria Hayden Community Centre. The S-CAPE program (Summer Culture, Arts, and Physically Active Experiences) runs between July 4 and August 12, welcoming children ages 6 to 12.

Sidewalk program trimmed

Yorkton Council approved the City's 2011 sidewalk tender, but less work will be undertaken than initially planned. City Engineer Moshiur Rahman said tenders were issued in June for the 2011 Concrete Sidewalks Construction Program.
