The town council of Outlook met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday night, December 11.

The Outlook has obtained the adopted minutes of the November 27 regular meeting of Outlook鈥檚 town council, as well as those from the December 2 special meeting.

Well, folks, here we are. We鈥檝e come to the final issue of the year and with that, the last Ruttle Report for 2019.

Seven years ago Hurricane Sandy slammed the northeastern United States, Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, and was called the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of 2012.

With temperatures dropping and the days of December bringing us that much closer to Christmas, it can be a difficult time for those living on social assistance, including one Outlook woman and her two young girls.

We were the grade seven class and that made us the most senior students in our elementary school. We were intramural house leaders, library helpers, and on one special night in December, the Christmas Concert crew.

For those wishing to get out and enjoy the festivities around Outlook for the community鈥檚 yearly Santa Claus Day celebration, please note that there has been a change of venue for the event.

There鈥檚 a lot of work that goes into the Christmas season. (Gee, Derek, are you trying to go for the championship title of Things That We Already Know and Are So Ridiculously Obvious?) Perhaps I need to be much more specific.
