Not only some of us, but all of us should know that ‘some’ is a ‘determiner,’ ‘pronoun,’ ‘adverb’ and ‘adjective,’ but it is also used as a ‘prefix’ and ‘suffix,’ according to Merriam Webster Dictionary .

A trip down memory lane was taken recently while I was straightening a drawer with many photos of family and friends waiting to be put in albums. A job that was intended for an hour or two took up the major part of the day.

Not that long ago, I decided it was finally time for a full-scale replacement of our old appliances.

On the day I’m writing this, I’m finding that I’m having a little trouble focusing on work. There could be multiple reasons for this, what with it being a Monday.

Asomewhat iconic building is headed to, at best, new owners, but more likely demolition. The Alexander Ross branch of the Royal Canadian Legion in the city is struggling financially.

Checking texts, opening emails, answering the phone – some days I’d rather ignore those tasks. The other day they carried to me three bits of negative news. A beloved relative lay dying. A close friend didn’t get the job we’d hoped and prayed for.
