I hate my phone. I didn’t always hate my phone, I actually quite liked its predecessor, a Motorola Moto X Play. It was partially made of rubber so it was durable – it was dropped from great heights many times without a problem.

One might wonder what the Saskatchewan Party’s first general election 20 years ago this month has to with today’s federal election.

The federal election campaign has quickly become a quagmire where the politicians or at least their most ardent supporters are flinging mud about this candidate, or that candidate, often based on things that happened years ago.

I love salsa. I add it to scrambled eggs, wraps and pasta; and when it comes to nachos, the chips and cheese are really just the background to the star of the show: the salsa.

I spouted a mouthful of fake news at lunch the other day. To the grandchildren, no less. With a federal election pending, it seemed natural that the discussion around our table turned to politics.

I’ve attended a lot of meetings with politicians at the front of the room since I moved to Estevan in late 2008, but in all that time, I have never seen a small-c conservative politician roasted as I did on September 4.

This is a busy week! To start, the first fall meeting of the Yorkton and District Horticultural Society will be held on Wednesday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. at SIGN on North Street, Yorkton.

Well, Canada, it’s time to decide. In just a hair over a month, we are headed to the polls once again as we find ourselves in federal election season. And we all know what that means, right? It means what I think is right and what you think is wrong.

When Shobu arrived and I opened the box I was immediately taken by the aesthetics of this beauty designed by Manolis Vranas and Jamie Sajdak. The components really make this game appealing out of box before even looking at the ruleset.

The next month to six weeks will, for me, be the most interesting time in sports, not just this year, but quite possibly for some years to come. Why you might ask? Well read on and I share the exciting time it will be.
