Whitesand Regional Park celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past weekend. Celebrations on Saturday, July 18 included a parade, supper, live music and raffles. Pictured here are a couple of the floats that were entered into the parade.

The fountain was situated in the CPR Park and provided much beauty for our city. The flowers were the creation of the city鈥檚 Horticulturalist Theodore Onofreychuk. It was especially beautiful at night under colored lights.

Yorkton Council began the process to move regulations regarding tree and shrub pruning was moved from the Urban Forestry Bylaw to the Property Standards Bylaw.
