Yorkton receives $330,000 from police grants
The Government of Saskatchewan is continuing to fund police in Yorkton. The municipal police grant provides funding to police services across the province through annual grants.

It will soon be easier to walk around Yorkton, thanks to the Yorkton Business Improvement District (YBID). At a meet and greet on Nov. 21, the organization announced a plan to pay for walking paths along Dracup Ave.

Habitat for Humanity help
In July a fundraising barbecue was held at Giant Tiger Yorkton. Giant Tiger supplied the food and condiments. Knights of Columbus Father Delaere Council No.5182 and Habitat for Humanity provided the manpower to prepare and serve the food.
