At their conference in 2019, the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils recognized four prominent volunteers from different arts councils through the province.

On April 28, 2020 this truck collided with a signpost in the parking lot at the Parkland Mall. Yorkton Fire Protective Services attended and there was some fuel spilled on the scene.

Yorkton’s Salvation Army Food Bank has received a financial ‘shot-in-the-arm’. The Louis Dreyfus Company, Yorkton has presented the Food Bank with a donation of $5,000.
