SaskGaming experienced another robust financial year, declaring income of $65.4 million for the 15 month period ending March 31, 2016.聽 Full details of the corporation鈥檚 finances were announced in the 2015-16 Annual Report, which was tabled with the Legislative Assembly Clerks office today.

SaskGaming鈥檚 $32.7 million payment to the General Revenue Fund (GRF) is split between the First Nations Trust and the Community Initiatives Fund (CIF), with a portion of the funds directed to the M茅tis Development Fund (also known as the Clarence Campeau Development Fund).聽 The First Nations Trust and the CIF help support economic and social development projects, and initiatives that enhance the vitality of First Nations and M茅tis communities across the province.

Due to a change in the corporation鈥檚 financial year end, the report covers the 15 month period from January 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016.
This change in year-end better aligns SaskGaming with government鈥檚 reporting schedule.
2015-16 Financial Highlights:
Revenue - $158.2 million in the 15 month period of 2015-16, compared to $128.0 million in the 12 months of 2014.
Expenses - $92.8 million in the 15 month period of 2015-16, compared to $78.2 million in the 12 months of 2014.
Income before payment to the GRF - $65.4 million in the 15 month period of 2015-16, compared to $49.8 million in the 12 months of 2014.
Payment to the GRF - $32.7 million, split between the First Nations Trust and CIF.
Dividend to the Crown Investments Corporation - $26.1 million.
2015-16 Operational Highlights:
Total guest count of 4.39 million.
Achieved Guest Satisfaction score of 80.7 per cent.
Achieved Guest Opinion of Safety on Premises score of 87.0 per cent.
Achieved Guest Awareness of Responsible Gaming score of 80.1 per cent.
Introduced a disentitlement of winnings policy in October 2015 to help those who have voluntarily self-excluded from Saskatchewan casinos stick to their commitment to stop gambling.
Provided $517,873 in donations, sponsorships and in-kind support to 74 organizations, projects and events across the province.
