The Sutherland house at the corner of Laurier Avenue & Broadway Street at the time of the spring flood in the 1920s. Needless to say all basements in that area were flooded. McDonald鈥檚 Restaurant is at that location today. In the background, one sees the International Harvester warehouse which was erected in 1911 and torn down in 1993. Closer is the original waterworks building.
