The village of Buchanan celebrated its 110 th birthday, and Canada 150, with a full day of events on July 8, said Marilyn Bader, president of the organizing committee.

The Parkland Valley District Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association (SSFA) held its annual golf tournament at the Canora Golf and Country Club on June 28, with 11 competitors from Yorkton, Esterhazy and the Canora area participating.
