CN Rail crews came upon a disturbing sight on March 18. At the side of a bridge outside of Runnymede, they discovered 11 dead dogs, discarded at the side of the tracks. Rail supervisor Alex Husak was one of the people who discovered the dogs.

The Canora Skating Club presented its annual carnival with the 鈥渓ucky theme of Las Vegas鈥 on March 17 at the Canora Civic Centre. About 150 people of all ages were in attendance, said Candace Doogan, one of the organizers.
