The Regina Pats are off to the Western Hockey League’s conference semifinals after sweeping the Calgary Hitmen in four games in the first round of the playoffs.

The Regina Pats are off to the Western Hockey League’s conference semifinals after sweeping the Calgary Hitmen in four games in the first round of the playoffs. The Pats proved just too much for Calgary in the series, as the Pats outscored the Hitmen in the four-game series 20-6. The Pats are now off to the second round of the WHL playoffs against the Swift Current Broncos.

In the American Hockey League, the Ontario Reign split their games with the Bakersfield Condors on the weekend. The Reign are in sixth place in the Western Conference.

As for the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, they lost to the Winnipeg Jets 4-2 in a recent game. The Senators are in fourth place in the Atlantic Division and are holding on to a playoff spot.

In the National Lacrosse League, the Calgary Roughnecks got past the Rochester Knight Hawks 11-9 in a close game. The Roughnecks record is 6-9 and they are in fourth place in the Western Conference.

In Major League Soccer, Toronto FC tied Sporting KC 0-0 in a scoreless game. Toronto’s record is 1-0-3 and they are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

Brad Keselowski won NASCAR’s STP 500 race, finishing ahead of Kyle Bush. Kevin Harvick started the race in ninth place but finished in 20th. The next race is the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500.

In NCAA Baseball, the No. 7 Florida Gators swept the Missouri Tigers on the weekend. The Gators are in third place in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Eastern Conference’s East Division.

The Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA beat their rivals the Los Angeles Lakers 115-104 in a one-sided game. The Clippers are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
