IÂ am writing regarding the news article about eastern workers coming to work at the wind farm project during this flu pandemic. I am a tradesman working at a project similar to this one that is located in Manitoba. All of us were sent home, laid off and the project was put on hold. A call back to work will happen when deemed safe. We had a nurse practitioner on site and many more defences in place. A decision was made to halt the project temporarily. I see no difference between my project and this one. This decision affected approximately eight hundred tradesmen. The safety of our families and the public was put first.Â
