The London Knights have won the 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup, beating the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 3-2 in overtime in the final. The Knights finished the round-robin with a 3-0 record and a first place finish. They also won 17 straight playoff games, going back to the Ontario Hockey League post-season.聽This is the Knights second title in franchise history. They will look for their third when the tournament goes to Windsor, Ontario, next year.
In the Arena Football League, the Philadelphia Soul lost to the Cleveland Gladiators 63-49 in a one-sided game. The Soul鈥檚 record is 7-2 and their next game is against the Jacksonville Sharks.

In Major League Soccer, Toronto FC lost to the New York Red Bulls 3-0 in a one-sided game. Toronto鈥檚 record is 4-5-4 and they are in sixth place.
In the Western Major Baseball League, the Regina Red Sox got past the Weyburn Beavers 5-3 in a close game in their home opener. The Red Sox are in second place in the East Division.
The Minnesota Twins swept the Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball action over the weekend. The Twins are in last place in the American League Central Division.
In NCAA Baseball, the No. 4 Florida Gators lost 12-5 to the Texas A&M Aggies in the 麻豆视频 Eastern Conference Tournament. The Gators are now off to the Gainesville Regional.
