Brad Gushue and his team won the men鈥檚 final at the Players Championship in the Grand Slam of Curling, beating Brad Jacobs and his team 5-4. Gushue had a 5-0 record in the men鈥檚 standings. Gushue then won his first two playoff games, against Niklas Edin in the quarter final and David Murdoch in the semi final. In the women鈥檚 final, Eve Muirhead beat Jennifer Jones 9-6.
