Cheers to the changes made to King Street in front of the Estevan Shoppers Mall. The crews that worked on it did a great job.

Cheers to the graduating class of 2017 at the Estevan Comprehensive School, and the other schools in the southeast region.

Cheers to the Calamity Cowgirls trick riders for the great performance they put on during the first night of the Estevan Fair.

Cheers to the cast of Fitz Happens for the delightful and entertaining performance currently taking place at the Souris Valley Theatre.

Cheers to Sara Pippus for all the fantastic work she has done as the community education liaison at Hillcrest School over the last few years. It has made such a big difference for the students.

Jeers:

Jeers to the parents who have not taught their children about respecting other people’s property, and to the children who feel it is all right to try and destroy park equipment and amenities.

Jeers to the loss of many great trees at the old Riverdene homestead by the water treatment plant. It was such a beautifully landscaped area.

Jeers to the self check out at a certain grocery store. It really is a waste of time.

Jeers to the two people who were arrested for impaired driving last Friday night. It’s frustrating to see that some people still aren’t getting the message.

Jeers to motorists who are travelling far too fast within city limits. It’s one thing to be caught for speeding; it’s another thing when you’re travelling more than double the speed limit.Ìý
