Cheers:
Cheers to all of Lawrence Babcock’s neighbours and fellow residents at Inglis Court for the 98th birthday celebration given to him. It is nice to know he is living with his extended family.
Cheers to the City of Estevan for the new sidewalks on Wellock Road. They look good and a lot of people walk along Wellock.
Cheers to those who supported the Estevan Tower Wolves’ hockey team’s glow golf tournament earlier this month. It will allow them to help families affected by autism.
Cheers to the Sun City Remote Controlled Club for organizing the provincial fun fly on the weekend. Their site looks great.
Cheers to the Downtown Action Committee for having the Street Fair last weekend. They offered a lot of activities for kids, and great shopping for adults.

Jeers:
Jeers to local businesses who don't respond to repeated email requests. It causes people to do business with outside service providers.
Jeers to the high weeds around and in between barricade posts at the once-beautiful running track. It looks like nobody cares now that the 2016 Summer Games have come and gone.
Jeers to those who refuse to remain at the scene of an accident. Remain at the scene and take accountability for driving actions. It’s better for all in the long run.
Jeers to the new location of the curves on King Street. All they will do is move the traffic problems back a couple of blocks.
Jeers to those who are spending the summer months sitting indoors and watching television or spending too much time on the computer. Yes, it’s been a hot, dry summer, but time outdoors sure is better than time inside. Ìý
