Cheers:
Cheers to the Estevan Kinettes Club for organizing such a fun event, their annual Princess Ball. It was a wonderful afternoon for all the young princesses and princes.
Cheers to the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum for bringing in local musician Joel Henderson, also known as Poor Nameless Boy, for a concert through the After Dark series.
Cheers to the Estevan Bruins for winning an entertaining game against the Melfort Mustangs. It might be a preview of a playoff series.
Cheers to Samuel Deason for providing such an entertaining piano concert for local music fans. It truly was an impressive display of talent.
Cheers to all of the volunteers who help out with the Warm Welcome shelter. The shelter’s clients appreciate their efforts.

Jeers:
Jeers to people who think they can bring dogs into public places, including local businesses. Keep the dogs at home. They don’t need to go shopping.
Jeers to all the people who seem to think they always have to drive with their fog lights on, even on a nice morning or a clear night. If you can’t see without the fog lights, get your eyes tested or drive during daylight hours.
Jeers to those responsible for shovelling snow from the front parking lot of the Civic Auditorium.Ìý Anyone with mobility issues can't climb small snow banks.
Jeers to those who are complaining about the speed humps on Wellock Road. It will take you two or three seconds more to reach your destination. And they are in a reduced speed zone, so you should be driving slowly.
Jeers to the property tax rate increase in Estevan. For a lot of low and medium income earners, it’s another rising cost they have to worry about.
