Cheers: Cheers to the Estevan Police Service, who do an amazing job helping the youth and their families in our community. Cheers to all those who have been very supportive of a local resident and his service dog.

Ìý

Cheers to all those who have been very supportive of a local resident and his service dog.

Ìý

Cheers to the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins for clinching a playoff spot. Hopefully they will have a long playoff run this year.

Ìý

Cheers to Bienfait’s Andy Shauf on receiving three nominations for the Juno Awards. He’s another talented local musician who is making us proud.

Ìý

Cheers to the crews who were once again working tirelessly after the most recent dump of snow in Estevan. The roads were easy to navigate this week.

Jeers:

Ìý

Jeers to the decision to place speed humps on Wellock Road. What makes that the most important school zone in the city?

Ìý

Jeers to a motorist who was apprehended in Bienfait for not having a driver’s licence. He hasn’t had a driver’s licence for more than 15 years. Why was he driving?

Ìý

Jeers to drivers who wait until the last possible second to use their signal lights, or who don’t signal at all. It’s really frustrating for everyone else on the road.

Ìý

Jeers to those who still want to try to turn left from Souris Avenue North onto King Street. Pay attention to the sign that says no left turns at that intersection, and stop backing up traffic.

Ìý

Jeers to those who have been parking illegally at Affinity Place during Bruin home games. It’s been so bad lately that one person blocked the Flin Flon Bombers bus on Sunday. Ìý
