Cheers:
Cheers to a two-man crew from the City of Estevan who repaired some sewer problems. They were very polite and willing to go the extra mile, which was appreciated.
Cheers to the Time to Twin committee for continuing their efforts to have double lanes on Highways 39 and 6 from North Portal to Regina.
Cheers to the Estevan Wildlife Federation for once again offering a youth camp this summer. The kids learn a lot and have fun throughout the weekend.
Cheers to the kids who were part of the Game of Thrones 2 production at the Souris Valley Theatre last Friday. They are very talented, and seemed to be having a good time.
Cheers to the Souris Valley Museum for offering so many programs this summer. The Pioneer Fun Day and the Seniors’ Social are great opportunities to showcase the museum.

Jeers:
Jeers to the Estevan branch of the Royal Canadian Legion for asking the taxpayers of Estevan for money. If they can’t run things right lock the doors.
Jeers to the teenagers who used a pellet gun to shoot at an apartment window, damaging it. They scared a young mom with a one-year-old baby.
Jeers to the two impaired drivers who were apprehended last Saturday night. It’s sad that some people still aren’t getting the message about the risks of impaired driving.
Jeers to the motorist who was pulled over for doing more than twice the legal speed limit in an area where the speed limit is 50 kilometres per hour.
Jeers to pedestrians who insist on crossing the street even though there is a red light, thus delaying traffic. It’s especially bad at the intersection of 13th Street and Eighth Avenue. Ìý
