Senior Rebs lose their last league encounter

The Senior Rebels were downed 6-3 on Friday, January 24 in what turned out to be a lacklustre affair on their part. Gravelbourg quickly took a 3-0 lead and never trailed, serving official notice they will not be pushovers in the playoffs.

The Senior Rebels will now turn their attention to the Hornets in a best of seven series likely starting on Friday, February 7 at 8:30 p.m. but this still needs to be confirmed as the managers set up the slate of games. The Senior Rebels have officially finished second in the Notekeu League with 20 points. The Hodgeville Huskies are in the league’s first place standings with 24 points.

Coronach opened the Survivor Series verses Glentworth with a 5-4 win. That best of three series will be completed next weekend. Hodgeville will take on the winner in their best of seven rounds. The season is winding down and the play is for keeps, so get out and support the hometown crew.
