ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP dealt with one file under the Child Welfare Act.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý False alarm
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A false alarm originated in Redvers.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Firearms
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Several firearms were seized from an individual in the detachment area. This person was also charged with assault and uttering threats.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Mischief
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A business in Carlyle was vandalized with spray paint.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP members responded to a report of assault and mischief regarding an individual in the Carlyle area. At the officer's discretion, no charges were laid.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Theft
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Police dealt with a report from Edmonton concerning two ATVs which were suspected to be in a rural area near Carlyle.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members assisted CN Rail police in retrieving some stolen items which were sold online. These items were located and returned to CN Rail.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Carlyle RCMP responded to a report of the theft of a motor vehicle.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Traffic offences
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Carlyle RCMP responded to two reports of possibly-impaired drivers. One motorist was found to be impaired; the other was not.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Two motorists were fined $580 each for driving improperly registered vehicles.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Four individuals were found to be operating or riding in motor vehicles without wearing seatbelts.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Three drivers within the detachment area failed to stop at posted stop signs.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Two individuals failed to produce vehicle registration when asked to do so by a police fficer. The fine for this offence is $100.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A motorist was fined $280 for operating an electronic device while driving.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Three individuals operated motor vehicles without a valid driver's licence.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members issued 26 speeding tickets and 10 warnings this week.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members dealt with several other traffic issues during this period. These included: improper window tint on vehicles, windshields in need of repair or replacement, inadequate headlamps, inadequate tail lights, obstructed licence plates and a loud muffler.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Uttering threats
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members are investigating reports of of uttering threats involving two people from rural areas near Redvers and in Manitoba.
