            The Carlyle RCMP detachment responded to several calls from Thursday, July 6 to Thursday, July 13.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Animal call(s)

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP received a report of stray dogs running loose within the Town of Carlyle. Members made patrols, but these animals were not located.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Assault

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A domestic assault which took place in the Kisbey area resulted in two individuals being charged.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý An alleged assault in the Carlyle area in which alcohol was involved resulted in police determining that no assault took place.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Assistance

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Carlyle RCMP assisted the Winnipeg Police Service with a file.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members assisted Saskatchewan Justice by serving a document.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP returned lost identification and a driver's licence to the owners.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Breach of release conditions

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý An individual was charged with breach of release conditions during a traffic stop conducted by Carlyle RCMP members.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Break and enter

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Three break and enters which occurred at cabins in the Carlyle area are currently under investigation by Carlyle RCMP.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Criminal harassment

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP are investigating two incidents of criminal harassment in the Carlyle area.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Drug offence(s)

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP are currently conducting a drug investigation regarding a group of individuals smoking marijuana in Moose Mountain Provincial Park.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý False alarms

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Two false alarms - one in Carlyle and one in Manor - occurred this week.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Firearms

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A report of unsafe storage of firearms is under investigation.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Mental Health Act

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP dealt with two incidents under the Mental Health Act.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Mischief

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý In the Forget area, a pasture gate was left open. Staff Sgt. Darren Simons of the Carlyle RCMP reminds the public: “Whether you're in your vehicle, riding an ATV or even if you're on foot, please take the time to close pasture gates. It seems like a small thing, but if you take the extra time to secure gates, it can prevent cattle and horses from ending up on roads - and can certainly prevent collisions involving animals. Please, take the extra time.â€

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý For nearly six months, someone in Redvers is leaving items on another individual's lawn.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Fireworks were reported in the Carlyle area.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Sexual assault

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members are investigating a sexual assault which took place in the Kenosee Lake area.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A historic sexual assault is currently under investigation by Carlyle RCMP.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Theft

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP are investigating an incidence of theft under $5,000.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý An individual's identification was stolen and was later returned.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Traffic offences/Collisions

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A minor collision occurred at Moose Mountain Provincial Park.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A motorist was found to be driving while disqualified by police. The driver was arrested. However, the passenger then drove away. The passenger was later arrested for other matters and is still in custody at this time.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý An individual was charged with driving while disqualified.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý At a traffic stop, an individual was fined $150 for driving without a valid driver's licence and discovered to have been already charged with several other offences.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A careless driver was given a warning by RCMP.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A motorist received a warning for failing to produce a driver's licence.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members of the Carlyle detachment responded to a call reporting a possibly-impaired driver. Patrols were made and police found that the driver in question was not impaired. However, this motorist received a warning from police regarding driving in an unsafe manner.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members responded to several reports of erratic drivers.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Seven drivers were charged with insurance violations. The fine for this offence is $580.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP dealt with three intersection-related offences. The fine for this offence is $230.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Several speeding tickets were issued, with one fine totalling $344. In another incident, a driver was caught by photo radar at a construction site on Hwy 13, east of Carlyle. This individual was fined $306.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý An individual was fined $175 for the unlawful use of registration.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Police dealt with other traffic offences during this period, which included: seatbelt offences, drivers passing on a double solid line and improper tint on vehicle windows. Individuals were also warned about riding on the outside of a motor vehicle.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Members responded to the report of a vehicle having been taken. The complainant refused to lay charges.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý RCMP investigated a report of a vehicle which was parked for an extended period of time.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Uttering threats

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý An incident of uttering threats involved an individual making threats by phone.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Well-being check

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Carlyle RCMP conducted a well-being check within the detachment area.
