The SHA has asked the public not to donate supplies directly to their facilities

The Saskatchewan Health Authority greatly appreciates the public interest in donating supplies to help their point-of-care providers during this unprecedented interval.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority greatly appreciates the public interest in donating supplies to help their point-of-care providers during this unprecedented interval. However, due to current visitor restrictions, the SHA has asked people not to deliver supplies directly to their facilities at this time.

The SHA are developing a safe process for donations to comply with Infection Prevention and Control Standards, as well as the social-distancing guidelines from the Chief Medical Health Officer. The SHA will be providing more details for drop off processes and locations in the coming days. To assure the integrity of their supplies, the SHA wants the donations to be appropriately packaged in sealed, unopened boxes. The SHA will be accepting the following supplies: masks, non-latex gloves and disposable gowns.

Please note – the SHA will not be receiving sewn masks or gowns during this period.
