The Assiniboia and District Arts Council announced on March 19 that due to the recent spread of COVID-19, some of their upcoming events have either been cancelled or postponed.Â
The Christine Tassan et les Imposteures concert originally scheduled for March 25 has been postponed. The Assiniboia and District Arts Council are looking at fall 2021 date for this delayed event. The council will let the public know what is happening when they have more information. Season Pass holders will be contacted. Anyone who has pre-purchased tickets for Christine Tassan et les Imposteures can contact the arts council at [email protected].
The Shurniak Gallery will be closed until further notice. Due to this closure, the council will not have access to their phone, so the best way to reach them is through email. Finally, the Steak Night Fundraiser at 121 Steakhouse for Thursday, March 26 and the silk painting class are both cancelled.Â
