Feb. 1, the start of a new month, makes you think thoughts of spring.
Jan. 25 was Robbie Burns Day. Janet Mark prepared for us an hour-long program, featuring Scottish songs, a poem, stories of growing up and school days ending with a Scottish ballad as a solo. Well done Janet.
We have been very fortunate to have had some wonderful music. First Tina Neufeld with some gospel songs, she was also saying good bye to the Villa but promised when it opened up she would come back again. Good luck in your new adventures and we will miss you.
We also had two musical sessions with Judy Skiba where we sing old familiar songs. We were treated to two beautiful solos by Amber Bojorquez who has such a beautiful voice. As always a special treat.
Of course we had the usual activities, Bingo and exercises, and the wonderful meals, making the time fly by. Until next week – take care.
