There were 11 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 6, bringing the total to 1,387 cases. The new cases were located in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Central (9), Saskatoon (1) and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ West (1) zones.ÌýOf the 11 reported cases reported, 10 were people living in communal living settings.Ìý
One more person has died from COVID-19.ÌýThis person was in the Regina region and in the 70-79 age range. Of the 1,387 reported cases, 204 were considered active.
A total of 1,164 people recovered.Ìý
Thirteen people were in hospital. Seven people are received inpatient care; three in Saskatoon, two in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµwest region, one in the Central East region and one in Regina.
Six people were in intensive care; four in Saskatoon, one in Regina and one in the North Central region.
