More than twenty local artists will be exhibiting and selling their works on June 15 at an original venue - an acreage just five minutes south of Weyburn. The van der Breggen farm will open up to the public from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. for a one-of-a-kind family event.

There will be live music, a magician, improv as well as art in many mediums.

The event's featured food will serve as a fundraiser for The Weyburn Humane Society and Weyburn Group Home.

Art Farm offers an opportunity for local talented artists to gain exposure while giving the public the chance to view and purchase original works of art.

More than 24 painters, potters, photographers, musicians and performing artists, from ages 10 to 80, will come together to give a market-type experience in a casual country atmosphere.

Artists are not being charged to participate. The Kinsmen Club has joined with the organizers to cover expenses, with an art raffle featuring four works of art by local artists Jaynie Himsl, John Woodward, Shelley Lueck, Heather van der Breggen.

The van der Breggen acreage is located just five minutes from Weyburn. Take Highway 35 south, turn west (right) at TWP 080 and turn south (left) at the white barn.

Admission is a toonie and free for children under 12.
