The Assiniboia Alliance Church cele颅brated it鈥檚 75th anniversary with an ex颅tended worship and thanksgiving service on October 30, which was followed by a fellowship luncheon. The guest speaker was Rev. Dr.

Remembrance Day on November 11 is the biggest day of the year for the Assiniboia Branch No. 17 Legion. The Legion鈥檚 membership has been active selling wreaths to local businesses and poppies through its poppy drive.

Bruno, the miracle dog that endured a near-death experience in the bottom of an abandoned well for 27 days, is regaining weight and strength thanks to a very strict diet that is being designed by veterinarian nutritionists.
