CARLYLE — The Carlyle RCMP seized 155 grams of cocaine and arrested two individuals following an investigation in Arcola.

According to a news release from the Saskatchewan RCMP, on May 13, officers with the Carlyle RCMP detachment attended a residence on Souris Avenue in Arcola to arrest an adult female for breaching her probation.

While taking the female into custody, the RCMP says officers observed illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia throughout the residence. Officers determined the woman was breaching court-ordered conditions and she was arrested. During a subsequent search of the residence, officers located and seized the cocaine and additional drug trafficking paraphernalia.

An adult male occupant of the residence was also arrested.

As a result of investigation, the RCMP says 44-year-old Krista Dolphin and 54-year-old Geoffrey Eagar, both of Arcola, were charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Dolphin is additionally charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order condition under the Criminal Code.

Dolphin and Eagar were in Carlyle Provincial Court on May 14 and have been remanded into custody until their next scheduled appearance in Weyburn Provincial Court on May 22.
