SASKATOON - Police are investigating following a stabbing yesterday evening.
At around 6:30 p.m. on June 15, police were called to the 2900 block of 8th Street East for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers learned that a confrontation had occurred between two suspects and a group of persons that had observed them stealing property from a nearby yard. During the confrontation, a male victim received a non-life-threatening stab wound and was transported to hospital by paramedics. The suspects had fled the area prior to police arrival.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
