SASKATOON - Update: The 32-year-old man arrested at the scene has been charged with second-degree murder.
He will appear before a Justice of the Peace on June 23.
Original post: SPS Major Crime detectives along with the Forensic Identification Section are currently investigating Saskatoon’s sixth homicide of 2025.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., June 23, police attended to a disturbance call in the 700 block of Weldon Ave. When officers arrived, they located a 53-year-old woman deceased. A 32-year-old male was arrested at the scene.
