SASKATOON - One man was arrested following the conclusion of a drug trafficking investigation by the Crime Reduction Team in Saskatoon.
At around 5:30 p.m. on June 26, members of the Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, initiated enforcement action in a drug trafficking investigation, with the arrest of a 31-year-old man in the 600 block of 25th Street East.
Following his arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment complex and made the following evidentiary seizures:
- $4,410 CAD
- 44.5 grams cocaine
- 76.8 grams methamphetamine
- 3.9 grams fentanyl
- 1-litre of GHB
- 23 x 100 mg gabapentin tablets
- Cellphones and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
- Electric moped, electric scooter, and electric bicycle
As a result, the accused has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine, trafficking a controlled substance, and possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000.
