REGINA — The City of Regina's spray pads officially opened May 23, offering families a free way to stay cool and active as temperatures begin to rise.
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the spray pads are now operating at all locations across the city, with the exception of Kinsmen Park Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, which will open May 26, and Rick Hansen Optimist Playground, scheduled to open May 29.
The city operates more than a dozen spray pad locations, giving residents easy access to summer recreation close to home. A full list of sites can be found .
“Spray pads are a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get active, and cool off,” the city said in a media release issued May 23.
Spray pads typically remain open through the summer, weather permitting.
