Updated: Regina police investigating death on 2200 block of Lindsay Street

Officers requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service's Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit.

The Regina Police Service thanks the public for their attention to this matter.

REGINA – The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, have begun a death investigation after having been called to a motor vehicle incident involving a pedestrian in the 2200 block of Lindsay Street.

Police were dispatched to the call shortly after 1 p.m. on July 8. Upon arrival, Police located a deceased adult male. Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit.

At this early stage of the investigation, say police, there are no further details that will be released to the public. The victim’s name will not be released at this time.
