It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Glen Alan Milman at his home in Cold Lake, Alberta on April 25, 2025 at the age of 58.

Glen was born on February 16, 1967 to Ronald and Bonnie Milman in the farming community of Maymont, Saskatchewan. In his youth, he was active in 4-H and enjoyed playing softball, volleyball and curling. Glen wore many hats throughout his life, from farming, operating ‘Milman Bale Handling,’ working for the village water treatment plant and as chief of the volunteer fire department. Deeply connected to his community, Glen looked forward to coffee row, social gatherings with friends, and lending a hand during harvest season.

In 2015, Glen embarked on a new chapter, by moving to Cold Lake, Alberta. There, he continued his work in public services with the City working in water treatment, utilities, and most recently the roads department.

Glen was a devoted fan of classic vehicles, classic rock and his Fords. He also had a lifelong passion for collecting John Deere tractors and building models - particularly replica vehicles for his friends and local classic car enthusiasts, super B’s, and bale trucks. Glen brought a unique creativity to everything he touched and won multiple awards for his creations. His latest project - a model railway with steam trains winding through prairie farmland and into the mountains - was a reflection of his love for both the land and the legacy of machinery.

He will be remembered for his dedication to community, his collectors heart, and unique blend of ingenuity and creativity.

Glen leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Darby Milman (Malcolm MacDougall);beloved partnerbeloved partner, Cynthia Labbé (Thomas, & Donavan); Mother, Bonnie Milman; sister, Denise Gabruch (Carson, Selina (Josh Botelho; great nephew, Matheaus) & Shelise); and his brother, Neil Milman.

He is predeceased by his father, Ronald Milman (2008); and brother-in-law, Barry Gabruch (2020).

The family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life for Glen that will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 at 2:00pm at Maymont Central School’s gymnasium in Maymont, SK. All who knew and loved him are welcome.
