Police ask for public's help following business break in, theft

At around 2 a.m. on June 15, officers received a call for service regarding a break and enter in progress at a business in the 1200 block of Central Avenue.

PRINCE ALBERT - Members of the Prince Albert Police Service are investigating following a break and enter and theft at a business downtown early Sunday morning.

At around 2 a.m. on June 15, officers received a call for service regarding a break and enter in progress at a business in the 1200 block of Central Avenue.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Officers circulated the surrounding area but were unable to locate anyone matching the suspect description.

Upon arrival at the business, officers observed damage consistent with a break and enter and a theft.

At this time, it is believed thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise was allegedly stolen.

Officers were able to view video surveillance, which shows the male suspect break a window before entering the business and appearing to steal merchandise.

The suspect is described as male, wearing a blue hoodie, blue shorts, white shoes, blue surgical gloves, and a face mask.
