βOne day a professor told his students he was giving them a surprise test and proceeded to hand out papers with only a blue dot near the bottom of the page. βI want you to write about what you see hereβ. At the end of the class the professor shared the answers. All of them, without exception, described the blue dot by trying to explain its position on the sheet. Then the professor explained; βI am not going to grade you on this; I just want to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the white part of the paper. Everyone focused on the blue dot. That same thing happens in our lives.
Our life is a special gift from God and we always have reason to celebrate. Yet, we focus only on the dark spots; money, relationship problems, health issues, and so on. We need to realize that these dots are small compared to everything else we do have in our lives. My advice is to take your eyes away from the dark spots that occupy your thinking. You have so much more to be grateful for. Be thankful and enjoy every moment of this amazing life youβve been given!β
Colossians 4: 2 βDevote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankfulβ
May you know Godβs rich blessings in your life!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
