Team Eberle has a third-place finish from last year’s provincials to build on as they prepare to compete in Humboldt.

At last year’s Viterra Scotties, held in Humboldt, Team Eberle was consistently neck-and-neck with Team Silvernagle as they competed for the top spot. They make it to the semifinals, where they faced off against Team Anderson. Team Anderson managed to get the points needed to win in an extra end, knocking out Team Eberle.

Team Anderson did the same thing to Team Silvernagle in the finals.

Skip Chantelle Eberle and lead Haylee Jameson are in their second year together as a team, while third Chaelynn Kitz and second Jana Tisdale are newcomers, competing at the provincials for the first time.  Shane Kitz is the team’s coach.

The team, who’s from the Regina Highland curling club, is ninth in the province on the Canadian Team Ranking System and 54th nationally.

Outside of curling, Eberle  Chantelle enjoys spending time with her boys and watching them compete at their sports, Kitz enjoys crossfit and is attending her fourth year at the University of Saskatchewan, Tisdale has a four-year-old and just competed at the 2017 Canadian Police Championship, and Jameson is in the nursing program at the University of Regina.
